About this Strategy

When the arts are integrated in other sectors - be that business, government, the sciences, health care, or nonprofits - it fosters creative problem-solving, broadens arts participation, and promotes a virtuous cycle of further investment into the arts. “Creative placemaking” integrates arts and creativity into community planning and development to strengthen the social, physical, and economic fabrics of communities.
